Do minority groups recieve less quality of education compared to main ethnicity groups? if the answer is yes or no.
why is that ?
Yes.
There are plenty of reasons to believe that minority groups recieve less quality of education compared to main ethnicity groups.Lets loom at the American example, US education system widely accepted as a superior education system all over the world. But no-one can deny the fact that it is one of the most unequal education systems in the industrialised world eventhough racial segregation in public education has been illegal for more than 65 years now.
* Minority students have unequal access to Educational resources, including skilled teachers and quality curriculum .
* Learning opportunities recieved by the students vary on the basis of their status.
* The cost of education is high, which makes higher education not acceptable to all . ( In US, there is almost a ten percent difference between the number of white young adults who enroll in college and black and Hispanic young adults who enroll in college.)
* As per the reports of a study held in last year, school districts where the majority of students enrolled are students of color receive 23 billion dollar less in education funding compared to white school districts eventhough the number of students are the same.
This shows that even the Government has failed to Fund schools, colleges and universities in a fair manner. The systematic economic and racial isolation looms as a huge obstacle to make quality education available to all eventhough it's their right.
