HOW DO YOU STUDY IN GENERAL?
WHAT ARE YOUR PHASES OF STUDYING ENGINEERING CLASSES?
EX) 1. READ THE WHOLE CHAPTERS 2. SOLVE EXAMPLES 3. SOLVE PROBLEMS IN THE BACK
EX) 1. SOLVE PROBLEMS IN THE BACK 2. SOLVE EXAMPLES 3. READ THE WHOLE CHAPTER, ETC
PLEASE BE SPECIFC AND PROVIDE THE DETAILS ON HOW DO YOU STUDY EACH CLASSES:
SOFTWARE CLASSES, PROBLEM SOLVING CLASSES (DSP, ELECTRONICS AND ELECTRICAL, AND COMMUNICATION, ENGINEERING MATH ETC)
HAVE YOU MEMORIZED CERTAIN PROCEDURES, CONCEPTS AND STEPS ON SOLVING QUESTIONS?
PLEASE PROVIDE YOUR REAL ANSWERS NOT VAGUE DESCRIPTIONS THAT DOES NOT TELL ANYTHING
Congratulations for choosing such a great field of engineering.
Every subject demand is different, for example if you are studying electronics then concept is very essential, if you are studying math then practice is most important.
Whatever subject/ book you are studying please start from first page of the chapter you want to learn. If you are not starting from first page then you may loose your interest in that subject. After that read whole chapters if there is any formula important concepts mark it or write it anywhere, then after completion solve problems given in that chapter or subject. Don't try to mug up or memorising, because if you memories it then you will forget it within few days or months. So read chapters and then solve problems, if you don't understand any concept then you may refer any other book or you may use internet, but understand it clearly before going for next one.
Keep in mind one thing you are not studying for marks or grade, you have to use it in the field after completion of your engineering, so try to understand everything.
For mathematics same rule, try to understand procedures and then practice as many problems as possible. For software, it is very issential part in today's engineering field, you can do one thing, go through help section of particular software e.g. Matlab read important things, take some good book to understand instruction used in programming, start from basic programming, change behaviour of requirements and again try to execute program then increase level. Keep practicing, avoid copy paste.
Practice and revision is the key of success. Don't ignore any topics, if you don't understand try to search it on internet you will find numerous website for this.
All the best.
