Ethical issues at the workplace can effectively solved when the individual use some of the few action. Ethical issue exists at the work place at broad sense, where one individuals action will affect the others, In the office managers decision may affect the workers, suppliers, customers, shareholders etc. so first thing need to do is identify the ethical issues. identify the alternative course of action. The handling ethical issues at the work place may resolve business as well as personal dilemmas. ethical reasoning skill is very important to make the ethical decision. Using this ethical reasoning skill decide on the course of the action.Value base and morality dilemmas are more difficult to handle when the employees are confused to choose between what is wrong and what is right.the forward thinking employers who will implement the policies related to work place ethics will some times lead to conflicts due to the diversity opinion, culture and value of the employees at the workplace. the handling the ethical issue at the workplace requires caution and the steady approach.

  • Know the law - It will stop from making employment decision such as suspension and termination.
  • Consult the company code of ethics for further guidance- this is the simple action will resolve the ethical issue immediately, based on how specific and comprehensive your company ethic statement is.   • Compile evidence - once you are conformed that the behavior which you observed is unethical, then start compiling the evidence. if you complaint the unethical without any evidence it will hurt your credibility. Procure and paperwork and prove that the unethical behavior is happening. make a two copies of evidence- one for reporting HR department and another for your personal record
  • File a report - whenever you are filing the report be sure your ethics have to be above reproach. The employee need to consult the HR department to know about the whether the company policies are concerned about reporting the unethical behavior. Make sure the paper work which you have done and the evidences which you have are proper and valid.
  • Don't gossip- Don't share your opinion about the unethical issues which you have observed, whether it may be ethical or non ethical. spreading rumors will impact your reputation and credibility.
