Personnel department of the company is responsible for the welfare, training and appointments etc. So this is why I will choose a person who is having the skills, quality and experience required for the post.

Here are some steps I will take before Interview-

  • First I will build a picture of what exactly I want from an employee.
  • I will do some background check to get to know about the candidate. Social Media is the best platform. From there I can come to know about the prospect’s background, experience, mental ability, likability etc. It will help me in interview if the candidate start telling lies to get the job then I can counter ask the questions.
  • As per the background analysis I will prepare questions to ask to the prospect.
  • Before the interview I will provide the candidate full information about the job role, expectation and their duties before the interview. Further the place of the interview, how I going to take the interview and who will be present over there. This will help to drag best out of the prospect. The candidate can also prepare himself or herself. The benefit will be that the prospect will come with a set mind otherwise people get nervous at the time of interview.
  • I will be dress up smartly because I am the face of the company. If I am not well dressed then the prospect will take a bad image of the company.

During Interview-

  • Before interview I will chat informally with he prospect such as how was the journey, any plan for the day etc. By this way the prospect will be relaxed.
  • In the next step I will sell the job and company. I mean I will brief about the company and roles, responsibility of the prospect.
  • Then I will ask the relevant questions which I have been prepared and the questions coming form the answer of the candidates.
  • I will allow the prospect to finish his or her answer. Then after I will ask another questions. The questions will be related to the experience.
  • At the end I will ask the candidate to ask any question. There should be two way communication and exchange of information. If there is another stage of interview I will ask hi or her to wait and if not so then
  • After that I will lose the interview say9ing that I will approach later.

After The interview-

  • After the interview I will analyze that whether the candidate has the best answer of my questions and should I search for another candidate for the same post.
  • I will discuss with my colleagues about the candidate and his or her skills.
  • Later if all things went good then I will reach out the references given by the prospect and make a final decision.
