Who are the actors of change and how they act during this coronavirus process?
Actors of change are doctors, medical staff, public health authorities, non-governmental organizations (NGOs) and hospitals among the others who bring change to the community and people while dealing with the coronavirus pandemic. Though, these actors of change work differently. Doctors and medical staff provide suitable treatment to all the COVID-19 positive cases, facilitate different types of help to stay calm and comfortable while getting treatment and help these patients recover. While doing so, these doctors and medical staff also ensure that no further spread of infection from these patients take place. The public health authorities work to spread awareness among people regarding the pandemic and explain method and approach so that COVID-19 does not spread. It includes social distancing, use of mask, gloves and preventing measures. Besides, these authorities also ensure that people do not get panic and remain calm while understanding how the infection spreads. The NGOs work to deliver necessary items, food to needy people and spread awareness among people. These NGOs also provide different types of help, required among people while making them behave properly with those who are dealing with COVID-19 patients. The hospitals provide all the necessary infrastructure and arrangements such as PPE kits, ventilators and other supporting equipments so that COVID-19 patients are treated properly. It makes them recover well and more number of patients can be treated at a time.
Besides, government also works as an actor of change as it brings initiatives such as lock down or development of containment zone so that spread of infection is slowed down in the area. So, different actors of change work differently in coronavirus pandemic.
