in what ways do the development paths of pakistan and bangladesh differ?
There are different ways that makes development paths of these two countries to differ. The first way is the time period of their creation and time given for the development. The Pakistan was created in 1947 and was in better economic conditions than that of now in Pakistan, whereas Bangladesh is the result of 1971 war between India & Pakistan. So, Bangladesh has a relatively shorter time period to pursue development in the country than that of Pakistan. The second way is the commitment of the government towards the development. Pakistan was enriched with different resources at the time of its creation, but its government relied upon the foreign aid and did not give attention to the infrastructure development and regulations that could fuel the growth. Besides, the Pakistan army also held power and never let democratic governments to work properly. It made the development to decrease and face liquidity crunch as they are facing now. In contrast to it, Bangladesh government has worked properly and focused to rely on its strengths. As a results, products in some categories are also exported to the overseas nations and the country is always trying to grow with proper development framework. So, Bangladesh despite having limited resources, is successful in making a positive growth and development path for the country.
Besides, destabilization, military dominance and political instability are with the Pakistan that differentiates it from Bangladesh in its development path as it has a downward long run trend of development in Pakistan, but Bangladesh is making efforts to utilize its resources and develop well.
