Answer)
A network audit tools perform the various security and functional
audits of the network devices and the configuration. The goal of
the audit is to screen the entire networks and audit the network
and also the identification and the prevention of the causes which
prevent the network from functioning to its full capacity.
There are various information which can be expected to be collected
in an auditing tool such as open TCP ports, utilized TCP and other
ports, device names, IP addresses of the devices, networking
processes, nodes of the network, percentage of resources and space
used and other details.
The information is gathered and using this the vulnerabilities and
threats are devised and a formal report can be sent to the network
admins to take necessary actions based on threat data.
The information tells us about the various things about the network
health and gives the administrators several information such as the
network availability, performance of the network and also the
quality of the service of the network, and also it focuses on the
network control and security.
