Globalization in health care created choices for the patients to select from the various options available across the globe. This is generally termed as medical tourism. Patients are able to travel to other parts of globe and get their treatment done in a comparitively low cost country. By this way the patients are being benefited by the globalization in health care.
The countries which are able to provide high quality health care associated with low cost benefit from the globalization of health care and also the patients who are willing to go abroad for their treatment to be done at least cost also benefits from globalization of health care.
The organizations that are involved in production of medical equipment and medicines also benefit because their customer base increases.
The people of underdeveloped nations are at loss because medical personnel tend to settle in developed countries as they have potential growth in their income and lifestyle. The ethical and social concerns that surrounds globalization of health care also have an effect on underdeveloped countries.
However the pros of globalization of health care outweighs the cons associated with it.
