ownership has compelled them to recognize that responsible
behavior is essential for the survival of private enterprise.
Trade union movement. Increasing strength or organized labour has forced businesses to give a fair deal to workers. Human relations and labour legislation have held trade unions in this respect. There is growingrecognition on human factor in business.
Consumerism. The establishment of consumer organizations and growing
consciousness on the part of consumers about their rights has made
business more responsible to their needs and desires. Consumer’s sovereignty is being stressed upon through the dictator, “consumer is the king”
Education. The spread of education has led businessmen to be more concerned the quality of life, moral values and social standards.
Public relation. Modern businessmen know that their survival and growth depends on a good public image. In order to improve their image in the
