Clindamycin is an antibiotic medicine using for the treatment of different types of bacterial infections.
The infusion rate is the correct dosing rate. It refers to the therapeutically effective dose of a medicine.
Clindamycin diluted before IV administration. The concentration of diluted Clindamycin for infusion should not exceed 18mg per ml. Its infusion rates should not go beyond 30mg per minute. The diluents are D5W(saline versus 5% Dextrose), NS, etc

Remarks:
Administration of the dose of more than 1200 mg in one-hour infusion is not recommended.
Stability: IV: Infusion solution in NS or D5W solution is stable for sixteen days at room temperature or in 32 days of refrigeration or 8 weeks in frozen condition.
Before its use, store the vials and premixed bags in a controlled room temperature of 20 degrees Celsius to 25 degrees Celsius. After the use, discard the unused part of the vial after 24 hrs.
