H NMR

Hi, I've been stuck on this question for a ridiculous amount of time. No stucture seems to fit this specta.

This compound has a formula of C4H8O, which has 1 degree of unsaturation.

There are peaks are ALL singlets at:

- 1.75 (3H)

-2.65 (1H)

-4.00 (2H)

-4.85 (1H)

4.95 (1H)

Thanks so much in advance, I'm very curious to see what the possible structure would look like.

Hi! I've been stuck with this question this whole day, not being able to get find out how to solve it. The question follows "In a zoo lives a hyena who every day eats a certain number of packs of hyena food. The probability that the hyena eats one pack of hyena food in one day is 0.4 and the probability that the hyena eats two packs of hyena food in one day is 0.6. What is the probability that...

H NMR For the diastereomers of 1,2-diphenyl-1,2-ethanediol: How do the H NMR spectra change between the meso diol and either the R,R or S,S diol? I know that they're different, but I'm unsure why. If possible it would be nice to see a possible H NMR spectra drawn out for these two. Thank you for your help.

9-fluorenol NMR: I've provided two sets of NMR's. The theoretical vs. the experimental. In the theoretical I understand all the shifts except for the 2.06, representative of the H alpha to the OH group. Methine protons usually have a shift around 1.7ppm and protons alpha to an (OH) are deshieled adding +2.5ppm, according to my textbook, which would make me think that the actual shift be 4.2ppm. Why is this not the case? Could I be mistaking this nuclei for...

1) In H NMR spectroscopy, why is the peak for a vinyl proton, C=C-H, shifted downfield relative to that of an alkane proton, C(sp3)-H? Be sure to use the following terms in your answer: pi-electrons, induced magnetic field, and resonance. 2)  In H NMR spectroscopy, why is the peak for a -CH2F group shifted downfield relative to that for a -CH2Br group? Be sure to use the following terms in your answer: electronegative, deshielded, magnetic field, and frequency.
