Solutions

Expert Solution

1. B. Visceral sensory system is a type of sensory receptor which have the responsibility of looking after the activity of organ systems, it helps to communicate with the brain especially in case of pain it sends signal to the central nervous system.

2. D. Proprioreceptor is a type of sensory receptor which specialises in body posture and its movement, it is mainly located at tendons and muscles. It basically constantly provide information to the brain about the postion of the body.

3. B. Somatic sensory receptor are mainly found in the superficial part of the body, it innervates skeletal muscles with the help of motor neurons which ultimately helps internal organ to function properly. It also specialises in detecting or sensing the temperature, pain, electric current etc.

4. C. It is located at the brain in central nervous system, they are basically connected with the other neurons present and helps them to communicate with each other, they are responsible for the reflex in the body in simple terms they connect sensory neuron to motor neuron for example, if we touch a hot vessels the sensory neuron is acitvated which is informed to the central nervous system which then notifies the motor neurons which leads to removal of hand from the vessels.

5. A. Motor neuron is a type of neuron which is located at the brain and spinal cord, its main function is to carry out the order given by the sensory neuron.
