(Answer) General Norman Schwarzkopf earned the sobriquet “Stormin’ Norman” because he successfully led troop during the Persian Gulf War that managed to quickly decimate the Iraqi forces.
General Schwarzkopf did not particularly gloat upon his seamless and brilliant victory; he was rather humble about it when he was interviewed. Firstly, he admitted that it was probably not his tactical genius that won victory but rather the dedication and work of the allied troops. Secondly, he claimed the enemy troops had a poor form that was the cause of bad leadership. This is what helped him to a quick victory.
Although the general had about 500,000 soldiers in his troop, he said that his tactic was to blind the opposition about their whereabouts. Furthermore, he said this is was easy to do because the Iraqi forces lacked form.
