What is an antibody and what does it do
ANSWER:-
Antibody can be defined as a protein which is mainly produced by plasma cells and these proteins are used by our immune system to neutralize or to make inactive the bacteria such as viruses, phathogenic bacteria. The antibody recognizes a unique molecule of the pathogen, called an antigen. The antigen stumulate the immune system to produce protective chemicals or special cells to destroy the antigens. The protective chemicals are called antibodies. Antibodies are aslo known as immunoglobulins and are Y shaped protiens. Antibodies helps in getting rid of the invaders like bacteria, viruses etc that may cause harm or infection to ur body
