Consider Diversity and Democracy as it relates to the American Civil War. What are the critical issues that we as a nation face in order to create a well-functioning democracy?
American civil war a the time when America had a really bad time, it was fought in the United States from 1861 to 1865. Due to the long-standing controversy at that time over slavery, war broke out in April 1861, which still had some remains in the foothills of America.
The war had a catastrophic impact on the political as well as the economic conditions of the American economy and democracy. There was a serious long-term issue going on in America which resulted in a revolt inside the country which destroyed the roots of the American economy and the entire system of the country.
America had a diversity in the country there was a clear distinction of the people the onthe basis of color, the whites enjoyed all the rights while the black people of the country suffered badly in every sector of the society. They were treated as slaves and were to have to work as a servant and workers from birth, there was discrimination in every field. The conditions seemed like they will never be able to come out of this slavery system. Gradually and gradually, people realized their rights and started revolting against such a system where they were devoid of their fundamental rights. This resulted in a world war and finally, after the war, there was a well-established democracy where there was no discrimination on the basis of color, everyone enjoyed their fundamental rights well.
