Anti diuretic hormone (ADH)
Anti diuretic hormone (ADH) is a peptide hormone synthesized by
pituitary gland , which help in preventing dilute urine.
It is synthesized in hypothalamus and secreted by posterior
pituitary gland.
It is released in response to hypertonicity of blood.It
increases blood pressure through vasoconstriction.
ADH make DCT and collecting tubule more permeable to water,
hence directly increases water reabsorption.
ADH is also known as vasopressin.

circulatory system.
There are two type of blood pressure , they are systolic blood

High blood pressure is considered to be 140/90mmHg or
higher
