Solutions

Expert Solution

Solution :-

In the given molecule there are 3 chiral centers are present therefore the number of possible stereoisomers are calculated as

# stereoisomer = 2^n

                      = 2^3

                      = 8

Enantioemers are the non super impossible mirror images and the distereomers of the compounds are the structures in which 1 or more chiral centers deffer in the configuration. Diastereomers are also not mirror iamges.

Following iamge shows the structures for the each part

The structures shown in the part b are also considred as the diastereomers.

Since the moloecule is not symmetrical therefore meso are not shown.
