ipswitch failover detect that it has not shut down correctly and enter pending active mode. in this mode the application is not started and sever is not visible on public network.
The server attempt to connect to its peer and identify if there is an active server. if it connect to its peer and and other server is active then it become passive and and begin replication. and if it is not connected to peer then it become passive.
In this phase, ipswitch failover which is running on the server connect and start to resynchronize data on primary server.
The ipswitch failover should be allowed to fully synchronize.
After completion of the synchronization, we can continue running this configuration, for example - the secondry is active server and primary is passive server.
Initiate managed switchover to reverse to server roles in ipswitch failover pair.
