36. How many pairs of chromosomes to humans have? Which number chromosome determines the sex of the fetus? Explain.
37. In which cells does meiosis occur?
38. What becomes of the embryonic Mullerian ducts in females? In males?
39. What becomes of the embryonic Wolffian ducts in females? In males?
35)calcium is a key for good bone health, high blood calcium level leads to osteoporosis.Hyperparathyroidism which causes increase in blood calcium level causes osteoporosis.
Prevention of osteoporosis:get the clacium and vitamin D you need every day,eat foods that are good for bone health, stop smoking and alcohol consumption,do regular weight bearing exercises.
Medical treatment: Bisphosphonates like alendronate,risedronate.
36)Human have 23 pairs of chromosomes,23rd pair of chromosome determine the sex of fetus.Offspring have 2 sex chromosomes, offspring with two x chromosomes will develop female characterestics, offspring with X and Y chromosome will develop male characterestics.
37)Meiosis occur in sperm cell and egg cell, occur in sexually reproducing organisms.
38)Mullerian duct in females become female internal structures like fallopian tube, uterus, cervix etc.In males mullerian ducts are largely suppressed.
39)Wolffian ducts in females becomes regress,in males wolffian ducts form male internal genitalia like epididymis, vas deferens, ejaculatory duct, seminal vesicle.
