Leadership has become an integral aspect of organizations and no organization today can grow or develop without the role of effective leadership in the organization. I believe that in order to grow and develop as an organization in the industry, a leader should have certain traits or skills based on which they can help the organization grow in the industry. The key skills that the leaders should possess are:

1. A leader of a global organization should possess experience of working in more than one country because then the leader will be aware of the culture and differences that is in place in other countries and that will help the organization grow as well in the industry.

2. In a global organization, diversity is something that is present and the leader needs to be sensitive towards the cultural behavioral diversity which will ensure that there is respect for all no discrimination.

3. The leader has to be a strategist and a global strategist as a whole because only then it would be possible for the leader to design or formulate a strategy that will work for the strategy as a whole for the organization.

4. Communication has always been the key and there is no way success can be achieved without effective communication in the process because that is important and required as well in any business aspect or transaction.

5. The leader needs to be a negotiator as well because that will ensure that business deals are finalized and worked out for the betterment of the organization.
