when estimating a population parameter from a simple random sample, the accuracy of the estimate depends primarily on
Here, In inferencial Statistics we are interested in estimation of population parameter. When we want to estimate the population parameter we have to draw the random sample from the population, because analysing the population is not reliable and it need more cost.
Making the inference about the population parameter based on the sample is called as inference.
When estimating the population parameter from the simple random sample, the accuracy of estimate is primarily depends on the sample size . Here if we draw the sufficient large sample it gives us the more information about population parameter. So when estimating the population parameter we have to make sure draw the sufficient sample.here accuracy of the estimate is also depends on the method of Analysis.this is about point estimate.
Now we are estimating the confidence Interval, when we fi Accuracy in parameter estimation allows you to specify the size of confidence interval you want to achieve and, in return, gives you the sample size needed to achieve that confidence interval. “The AIPE (Accuracy In Parameter Estimate) approach yields precise estimates of population parameters by providing necessary sample sizes in order for the likely widths of confidence intervals to be sufficiently narrow.”
There are also other some factors that consided as Accuracy of estimate but above are primarily concerned in parameter accuracy.
