Imagine that you are the coach of a 7-8 year old soccer team. Since you desire to stay in shape you run up and down the field with the players at every practice. On real hot days you make sure that you end practice when you start feeling the effects of running around in the heat. Explain in detail why (or why not) this is a good policy to prevent your team from experiencing heat illness.
Pros of preventing your team members from experiencing heat illness.
Sunlight exposure is good for maintaing a stable lifestyle in health perspective .
But too much hot can stress your body mind and your presence of mind.
Includes sunburn , heat rashes , skin cancer and wrinkles .
1. Heat exhaustion
It is the body's response to excess loss of water and sodium due to immense sweating .
2.Heat stroke
It is the most serious heat related illness and can be life threatening .
It causes the body to raise its temperature to about 106 degree Fahrenheit and this can even lead to disability or even death .
3.Sunburn
It is the most common ill effect of heat .
UV rays is the cause of sunburn .Severe burns may involve blisters and intense pain .
4. Heat rash
It occurs when the sweat perspiration traps under the skin folds or crease of elbows .
they form small blisters or rashes .
5. Skin cancer
Sun damage to the skin develops over the year and thelong term exposure intensify the probability.
Common types of skin cancer are
# Basal Cell carcinoma
#Squamous cell carcinoma
# Malignant melanoma
6. Aging and Wrinkles
UV light damages the collagen and elastic tissue in the skin that causes early aging of skin .
Thats why we prefer applying sun block gel or cream to avoid this intense exposure .
Here we are talking about players who are underaged and we should never engage them ,the youth of our country to engage in activities that will have a life long impact on them .
So its better to avoid practice during a hot weather but you can practice in hot weather provided they are given supplements to prevent the damage of sunlight exposure .
Drinking lots of water will keep you hydrated and this should be a motto to thrive in practices .
