SD-WAN protocol:-
- SD-WAN is nothin but a Software-Defined Wide Area
Network. It basically gives the permit to the enterprises
to provide any combination of transport services that include
MPLS( It is the technique in telecommunications
networks directs the data from one node to other which is based on
the shortest path for travel ),
LTE(wireless broadband connection for mobile
device), and broadband services to securely
connect users to the applications.
- With help of SD-WAN, we can increase agility
and improve performance.
- SD-WAN provides security because the integrated threat
protection enforced at the right place. Along with these
application-aware policies with end to end segmentation and
real-time access control.
- Compare with SDN the SD-WAN is very fast maturing means it is a
recent technology but maturing very rapidly.
Example:
In SD-WAN there is automatically design a network with help of
controller. Suppose, if you want your remote office incorporate
with the head office then just fix the controller
that's it, just change some settings but not need to make huge
changes. So, that is possible in SD-WAN. So, it is easily
connected with your remote location.
