Solutions

Expert Solution

Solubility of Oxygen decreases with increase in temperature because solubility of all gases decrease as the temperature increases and the kinetic energy of the molecules increase and hence the molecules escape thus the decreased solubility.

For isokinetic sampling the static pressure at the nozzle tip should be equal to the free stream.

The DO level in the water increases from 12:30 pm to 3 :30 pm

Iron oxide is collected in collection devices in steel industry because during various process and treatment of steel the oxides of iron are formed .

Eutrophication cause decrease in dissolved oxygen level because it cut off the fresh oxygen from environment and the oxygen present already in the water body is reduced.
