Economic interdependence has resulted in peace in East Asia. East Asian countries have been in constant disputes amongst each other from the past many years. This has resulted in large conflicts and chaos amongst the nations. Establishment of trade blocs like ASEAN, ASEAN 3+ and EAS have reduced the conflicts amongst the nations and is a source of peace. As the member nations are interdependent on each other due to increased trades, the peace has established.

The member nations have become trading partners and there is constant trading taking place amongst them. This has resulted in interdependence of their respective economies and thus prosperity of one economy is due to trade taking place with respect to other country. As a result they are in constant friendly relations and carrying out trade in an undisputed way. As a result there is a great deal of economic interdependence and thus resulting in peace in East Asian countries.
