A Bond is a basic fixed income security which is issued by a borrowing unit under a borrowing arrangement/ agreement. Bondholders can expect a periodic interest payments given by the borrowing unit. These payments are called as Coupon Interest Payments(they are fixed). A Bond Indenture includes the terms and conditions relating to the issue of bonds. Bond Trustee is the financial institution enforcing the terms and conditions mentioned in Bond Indenture. Bond Trustee can be a Bank or a Trust Company.
