What is the meaning of the term, “Precedent”? Give an example of a Precedent in education (Other than the one used in your assignment this week) and explain why it is given this designation and in your opinion, its far-reaching effects and why it is important to schools today.

precedent can be defined as a previous event or an example or a guide to be considered in the very similar circumstances.

Learning from the pre existing presentations which were given in the previous term or in previous lessons. This type of approach definitely enables an educational institution to provide more productive study approach to the students. Using presentations which were already presented create and specific understanding of designing new presentations for to the new students.

By having above reasons in mind we can say that presentations are one of the finest examples of learning from precedents it is very important for schools to learn about student behaviour by assessing the old presentations and submission submitted by the students. Is can also give an analysis of ever changing environment for the students mind set according to the learning capabilities and improved study programs.
