It shows the Sales Transaction, Sales Return Transaction and Payment Transaction for each customer. The balance in Accounts Receivable subsidiary ledger of all customers is reconciled periodically with the Accounts Receivable General Ledger.

For Exmaple: Wendy Inc. sells goods to 2 customer, John ($5,000) Daniel ($6.000). Therefore , the Individual sunsidiary ledgers of John and Daniel will show receivables balance of $5,000 and $6.000 respectively whereas the General Ledger will account for a Total receivables of $11,000.
