Why do androgyny relationships allow individuals to cope effectively in a varity of situations? Explain this reasoning conceptually and include one example.

Androgyny relationship is a concept where people play all the gender roles such as masculine and feminine as against the traditional way of playing strict gender specific roles. It’s also proven that people who develop characteristics of both the genders develop a very positive personality because only masculine will make a person arrogant and only feminine will make a person feeble. The combination will help individuals to understand the other gender and cope in situations that would demand one to play another’s role.

For example, if the man suddenly loses the job and the lady has to work and provide for the family, the man has to look after the kids and the household jobs while the woman is away. Traditionally this is not acceptable gender roles because traditional view suggests that men should work outside and provide for the family while women should stay at home and look after the kids and family.
