What is the probability that the average number of soft drinks
consumed per month for the sample was between 26.2 and 30 soft
drinks?

Given that,
mean = = 25
standard deviation = = 15
= / n = 15 / 36 = 2.5
= P[(26.2 - 25) /2.5 < ( - ) / < (30 - 25) / 2.5)]
= P( 0.48 < Z < 2)
= P(Z < 2 ) - P(Z < 0.48)
= 0.9772 - 0.6844 = 0.2928 , Probability = 0.2928
