What are your thoughts on this statement?
The job database algorithms work only in perfect scenarios. They do not have the ability to think outside the box as an individual might.
I totally agree with the statement presented above which holds that the job database algorithms do not possess the ability to work well in the scenarios which require out of box thinking or creativity. They can work efficiently only in the scenarios which are bound by certain predetermined assumptions and characterised by certainty. The job database algorithms cannot provide right judgement in the ever changing and dynamic environment which is influenced by various uncontrollable forces and factors that directly put impact on the conditions in which the database algorithms operate or function. Moreover these algorithms cannot function effectively in qualitative aspects related to the job and hence prove detrimental to the personal integrity of organization and HR. Many organisations like JP Morgan , Xerox incorporation etc use job database algorithms for various operations such as, recruitment algorithm to support HR managers or fraud prediction algorithm in order to determine whether its workforce function in compliance with regulations. However they have encountered serious problems with privacy, dignity, ethics, moral judgement, and fairness of HR and thus cannot suit challenging and difficult scenarios where it is important to consider various other aspect of HR while taking these decisions. In other words job database algorithms can work only in normal and perfect situation where each fact and outcome is known and thus cannot compete with the creative mind of individuals.
