Answer-2) I would prepare this personnel for life in Qatar by first giving them an overview about the Qatar country. The climate of it, the culture followed by the community, there duties and responsibilities, to whom would they report to, where would they stay, what would they eat, as they would have to work in the hot climate on the drilling field what precautions they have to take etc. These all should be briefed to them.
Answer-3) Yes , gender makes a difference. As Qatar is a Muslim country, there are some restrictions for women . The women cannot wear too short dresses or they cannot be intimate in public places etc. But mostly there is no discrimination in work or soceity , women are treated the same.
