(there are more than 4 parts, as per policy i am answering first 4 parts)
1.
P(C question 1) = 1/no. of choices = 1/4
P(I question 1) = 1 - 1/no. of choices = 1 - 1/4 = 3/4
P(C question 2) = 1/no. of choices = 1/2
P(I question 2) = 1 - 1/no. of choices = 1 - 1/2 = 1/2
(ques 1 , ques 2) | Probability |
(C,C) | 1/4 * 1/2 = 1/8 |
(C,I) | 1/4 * 1/2 = 1/8 |
(I,C) | 3/4 * 1/2 = 3/8 |
(I,I) | 3/4 * 1/2 = 3/8 |
2.
out of two question you can get all wrong, 1 correct or both correct
therefore,
X = {0,1,2}
3.
P(X=0) = P(I,I) = 3/4 * 1/2 = 3/8
P(X=1) = P(C,I) + P(I,C) = 1/4 * 1/2 + 3/4 * 1/2 = 4/8 = 1/2
P(X=2) = P(C,C) = 1/4 * 1/2 = 1/8
4.
atleast 1 correct X>=1
P(X>=1) = P(X=1) + P(X=2)
= 1/2 + 1/8
= 5/8 = 0.625
P(atleast 1 correct) = 0.625
