How does the filtrate in the renal tubule differ from the urine that will eventually leave the collecting duct and drain into the renal pelvis?
Filtrate: filtrate is the fluid which is formed by the filteration of blood in the glomerulus which comes via afferent arterioles. After filtration, the filtrate formed enters the bowman's capsule.
Urine: urine is the final product which is formed after reabsorption and secretion of the filtrate from the tubules of nephron. It forms in the collecting duct and drain into renal pelvis and finally enters ureters, urinary bladder, urethra and ultimately leaves the body.
