What's the progress in the UAE green agenda?
Green Agenda 2015-2030 of the UAE is ensuring a sustainable development while environment preserving and also balancing social and economic development in cooperation with relevant entities and across sectors in UAE. The UAE Government has approved numerous initiatives, both local and global for achieving the agenda. It has eliminated significantly the carbon emissions through a wide approach of initiatives, such as the tracking and monitoring of emissions of Global Greenhouse Gas for assess the impact and creation of the strategies, policies, and measures for continued reduction of emissions of GHG. Also the government regularly organises campaigns on environment awareness for promoting among the people and conserve the natural resources of the nation. Also in the UAE's educational system the environmental education has become the prominent elements. Moreover the UAE is also seeking for managing the greenhouse gas emissions from the main sectors including the heavy industries, transportation and building sectors, oil and gas, under a framework of national green growth.
