Doha round trade negotiation is a trade negotiation among the wto membership. the main objective of this negotiation was to lower the trade barriers so that that the developoing countries can do more trafing tn the international platform. This round trade negotiation can also be termed as doha developmemt agenda as this provides the developing countries means to develop their trading prospects.

The doha round trade negotiation took place in november 2001 under the director- general Mike more where the wto members 157 currently particiated and dscussed the below 10 subjects :

1. Agriculture

2. Non agriculture market access

3. Services

4. Rules dumping

5. Intellectual property

6. Trade and environment

7. Trade facilitation

8. Special and differential treatment

9. Duspute settlement

10. E- commerce

The doha round negotiation was settled by consensus that is even if a single countey refuses to sign off there is no agreement. Although doha round negotiation was an important one it failed because The US and EU refused to reduce agriculture subsidies.
