Assume that a very good Natural Language Processing (NLP) system, called, say, ‘Whitman’ is available. Whitman can listen to speech and understand the context 98 to 99% of the time. It has a very complex vocabulary and has mastered the understanding of syntax and idiom. How could this system make a significant difference to the cost of care? How could it bend the cost curve? Give one clearly illustrated example.

Solutions

Expert Solution

Whitman could make a significant difference to the cost of care and it could bend the cost curve by identifying the patient's requirements by listening and understanding their speech and communication pattern and decode the message to the healthcare service providers, doctors, nurses etc which will help in effective treatment and also reduce significant costs for both the patients as well as the heathcare facilities. This Natural Language Processing (NLP) system could also help in establishing communication channels between patients and healthcare establishments and fulfill the requirements. For example, the patients who belong to different cultures and speak different languages could be benefitted through this system as communication channel gets established and cost of treatment also gets reduced due to availability of dedicated care as per patient requirements that can be understood and communicated through this system.

Zhaoxin needs to successfully complete a coding project that involves complex natural language processing algorithms. Zhaoxin must choose between three different Application Programming Interfaces (API), but is unsure which API is best for the project. Being a Statistician, he decides to collect data, then use random chance to make the final decision. He assigns a probability of 0.45 for PyTorch, 0.25 for Keras, and the rest to TensorFlow. Each API affects Zhaoxin chances of completing the project on time. Zhaoxin...

Exercise 1 JAVA LANGUAGE The system generates a random number from a given range, say 1 to 100. The user is prompted to enter their given number in a displayed dialogue box. The computer then tells if the entered number matches the guesses number or it is higher/lower than the generated number. The game continues under the user guessing the number. Throw an exception if user does enter an integer – have user reenter

Experiment 1Find a web-based system with simple functions that you are familiar with, use natural language to describe the customer’s requirements.User requirements are statements, in natural language plus diagrams, of the services the system provides and its operational constraints. They are written for customers. Requirements elicitation, sometimes called requirements discovery, involves technical staff working with customers to find out about the application domain, the services that the system should provide and the system’s operational constraints. Electrochemical capacitor and battery are electrochemical energy storage system. The former has a very good power density (fast charging/discharging) but low energy density, while the latter has the opposite properties. Please design a device that can have good power density and energy density by combining the electrochemical capacitor and battery. Please provide an equivalent circuit (use -||- to represent capacitor and -©- to represent battery) to describe your design and how they work under charging/discharging conditions. You can use multiple...
