I believe this is a huge advantage if companies can be ahead of the game, and see the potential need for change and begin implementation BEFORE they are forced to by a driving force that is less attractive (such as a plummet in revenue due to losing clients to competition). Having awareness to the reasons why people are resisters to change, can also be beneficial to planning for change long before implementing a change.
what are your thoughts on this . do you agree
Yes, I do agree with the statement that there can be various benefits to planning for change long before implementing a change when managers are aware of the reasons why people are resisters to change.
A business organization works in a highly uncertain and unpredictable environment where both internal and external factors are responsible for changes. For instance, a change in government regulations pressurized a business to change the way of producing goods. it is nearly impossible to correctly judge the environment and make a contingency plan beforehand. This is the reason which is why some organizations collapse in the long run because they do not have plans for an uncertain environment.
The organizations that can predict that uncertain environment are the winners in the long run. It is rightly said that if the organizations can see far from the competitors and implement the change before any driving force, they can win the competitive advantage and survive longer than others.
A thumbs-up from you matters the most for encouragement. Thank you.
