G Your overall impression of their on-line presence.

Amazon was founded by Jeff Bezos in 1994. He initially incorporated the company in washington states with the name Cadabra, Inc. He later changed the name to Amazon.com, Inc. In the early days, the company was operated out of Garage of Bezos' house on northeast 28th street in Bellevue, Washington. Amazon is now the biggest retail chain of the world with diversified subsidiaries. Amazon's CEO and Founder is the richest man in the world.

JD.com also known as Jingdong and formerly called 360buy is the largest retailer based in china. The company was founded by Liu Qiangdong on June 18,1998 and it went online in 2004. It changed its domain name to 360buy.com in 2007 and then to JD.com in 2013. JD.com has invested in high tech and AI delivery through drones, autonomous technology and robots and possess the largest drone delivery system

Part 1B : Mode of Operation

Both Amazon as well as JD.com operates online. The major difference between them is their delivery system. Amazon delivers its goods through delivery boys via roads. on the other hand, JD.com, which has the largest drone delivery system, undertakes major deliveries via drones.

Part 1C: Global presence

Yes, both Amazon.com as well as JD.com has global presence, however, JD.com is much focused in China whereas Amazon.com is globally focused.

Home page of Both amazon as well as JD.com are very much consumer focused and attractive. Mainly, products with great offers and discount or products which are just launched are shown in the homepage of both of them to attract customers.
