- Examples : Lacrimal glands, salivary glands,
sebaceous glands.

Multicellular glands

- They comprise of only single cell that produce
secretion. They are present inbetween epithelial linings.
- They secrete their producrs via
exocytosis.

- When epithelial tissue invaginate in deep
tissue it forms multicellular gland.
- It contains a duct at its proximal region
through which the product is secreted.

- Examples : Mucus cell, Goblet cell.
|
- Examples : Salivary glands.
