Describe how a global project can be more complex than a project performed within just one country. How might these elements affect the successful outcome of the global project?

Solutions

Expert Solution

If the project is performed in just one country all important factors like culture, likes, dislikes, and other factors related can be easily known which encourages the project to meet with the positive outcome. With the efficiency, proper strategies and successful planning, the project becomes successful in the country.

But, when it is termed as the global project, it becomes slightly complex, because there remain many factors that are likely required to be researched well before heading towards the global project. Each step of a global project is a bit challenging and the project manager who is leading to the project are required to build enough knowledge to target the project in the right way to achieve the best platform in the market. To construct the project on the better platform it requires conducting research in many areas of several countries to obtain the requirement of the project. Once the requirements and targeted points of the project are known then it can easily achieve the height of success. Several important factors that a global project requires are the team coordination, research, and identification of the project feasibility. A structure to perform the global project is highly necessary to be maintained with rigorous project management, if the management plays the positive roles then it will be easier to lead the project with the target. The last important factors are the global countries rules, policies, and regulations are likely required to be known to start any new project across the global network, it will helpful for the organization to lead the project successfully by meeting all requirement especially to the targeted points.

Elements that might affect the successful global project are to analyze proper risk management factors, lack of team meetings, and measuring appropriate cost control of the project. All above factors can affect the outcome of the global project to make it successful.
A team meeting is the major part to share about the working process, issues, and discuss the necessary progress required to make it successful. A project risk management factor is very necessary to be identified and required to work on it, to resolve any project arising issues. Before beginning the global project, it requires conducting a budget. The management should ensure that the budget should not exceed the entire project journey.
If the above factors are neither maintained nor structured in the global project it may affect the outcome of making a successful global project across any country.
