Why is cooling the work (e.g., with a fan) important in the process of 3d printing?
3D priting works by melting the material (plastic) and then using the molten material to create 3D objects by pouring layer by layer in the form of a line wherever needed.
As the material comes out of the nozzle in hot condition, it is easy to create complex structures, but as soon as it is dropped on to the material, if it doesnot gets cooled in time, the second layer coming upon the previous layer (both in hot molten state), they gets distorted and the 3D model will be out of shape and will be of no use.
So, as soon as a layer comes out, it should be cooled and the next layer will sit onto the cooled layer perfectly.
