Rating method:

Below expectation - 1

Meeting expectation - 2

Exceeding expectation - 3

Remarks:

Based on the rating Sony is preferred if an individual can afford it. Because the quality and the features are reliable and as specified by the company. The only drawback out of my personal experience is its serviceability because it takes so much time to get the product back in case of any breakdown. Apart from this, Japanese technologies are always a way ahead of others. I would rate LG Electronics to be the least because the company was good before few years but nowadays the quality is not meeting the expectations when compared to the other players in the market. Phillips and Panasonic are not bad when it comes to quality but on the other hand, is not much preferred when compared to Sony. Samsung is playing a major role in the electronics market by providing a wide range of products with a lot of features. But some appliances like mobile phones have performance or battery issues that reflect on the other products as well.
