Based on laboratory testing, it was discovered that the Doubling Time for E.coli at 25oC is 40 min. Also, based on laboratory testing, it was discovered that E.coli die at 45oC.

Temperature do not affect doubling time between an optimum range. Change in pressure increases the doubling time. So same number of E.coli will be found in 25°Cand 37°C after same time intervals. At 37°C growth rate of E.coli is high.
