You are planning to sell a range of fashionable surgical face masks. Evaluate the processes you plan to use to develop your new product proposition. (20 marks)
Process to plan to develop new product proposition :-
Product proposition is the value which is being promised to be delivered to a customer, which is considered as the primary reason to buy a product. Every product or service aims to improve the lives of the users. The steps to develop new product proposition of fashionable surgical face masks are -
i) The first step is to identify the needs of the customers that is, it is needed to find out what my company is offering that no other companies are offering (it is offering fashionable surgical face masks to the customers).
ii) This step involves transforming the product features to customer benefits that means, the product features define what benefits it may give to the customers.
iii) This step is very important as it develop individual customer value proposition as each target audience has different needs as well as their problems. So, my company is delivering customized surgical face masks to the customers.
iv) This step aims to develop the communication to deliver the value proposition in both internal and external environment of the company.
v) The last step is to measure the effects of the product value proposition which is being created to improve customer relationship.
