Zahra, a career oriented mother, hardly got time to cook for the family. She decided to hire a cook but was not able to find one who could cook according to the taste of the family. Her sister Huda sensed that this problem is not only faced by her sister but also by many working women. She launched a website namely ‘Dial for food’ where housewives who had culinary ability and were interested to cook could drop in their contact details and households where specific cuisine was required could leave in their requirements so that through the website home cooked food could be delivered. The website mainly helped in identifying the requirement and fulfilled it through providing delivery service.

QUESTION

  1. Analyze any two uses of problem identification to Huda?

B. Develop a solution for the problems and find out the needs of the market in this COVID 19?

Solutions

Expert Solution

Answer A= The problem identification is the process in which the researcher identifies the different types of issues that can be resulted in the given situation. The two important problems that can be caused to Huda inn her venture are as below=

Ensuring the proper delivery of the food items

Ensuring that the company has a wide variety of cooks who have expertise in cooking the different types of meals

Answer B= In order to deal with the issue of the delivery of the food, Huda can hire some delivery executives who will deliver the food item immediately to the customers. The speed and reliability of the delivery are important as the food needs to be delivered with less time and fresh. Apart from this, Huda can advertise the requirement of the cooks who have expertise in cooking the different types of meals to have a large pool of the cooks

The main requirement during COVID 19 is to ensure that the food is prepared by the people who are not infected with the virus and supplied too. The proper sanitation and regular check-up of all the employees are to be done. The service of zero contact delivery can also be provided
