To prevent unwanted information showing on web applications
depends on the browsers your using below are ways on how to prevent
them in different browsers.They are also known as pop ups.
Explanation:
- Google chrome
Turn pop-ups on or off
- In your computer launch Chrome.
- Top right of the window click
More Settings.
- Under "Privacy and security," select Site settings.
- Click Pop-ups and redirects.
- At the top, switch the setting to Blocked.
Block notifications from specific websites
- launch chrome in your PC.
- open the website your getting information from.
- View website information .
- Next to Notifications click Block from the drop down menu.
2 Micro soft edge
- Launch micro soft edge.
- Top right click on the three dots go to settings click on more
settings then to site permissions
- Click on pop ups and redirects
- push the block toggle to off.
- If the above steps don't work make sure your edge is
updated,scan your computer for malware,clear cache,block third
party cookies and disable extensions
3.Mozilla fire fox
- launch "Mozilla Fire Fox" Browser.
- slect on the drop down menu on the top left corner of the
firefox window , and click "Options."
- "Options" window will display.
- Select on the "Content" tab.
- select the "Block pop-up windows".
- click "ok" button.
- If the above steps don't install Ad block-plus extension.
4 Brave
- The pop ups are always off by default but in case they are on
launch the brave browser
- click on the 3 lines on the top right.
- Click on settings
- Click on brave rewards
- Move the ads toggle to off
5 Opera mini
- launch Opera.
- Click the menu button in the top-left and click Settings.
- Select Websites from the left.
- below Pop-ups, select from the two options to allow or block
pop-ups so select block.
