1) carrots and the sweet potato is very high source of vitamin A . Orange , strawberries ,tomato are source of vitamin C . Avocado and green vegetables are the sources of Vitamin E.
2 ) the fruits and vegetables should be conserved in crisper section of refrigerator . Storing fruits and vegetables in cold storage that is at low temperature . Avoiding storage of fruits and vegetables for a long time .
3) there are 3 methods for cooking to conserve the nutrients of
fruits and vegetables such as
i) using less water during cooking to avoid loss of water soluble
nutrients.
ii) using less time for cooking to prevent the degradation of
protein structure at high temperature.
4) i) Natural sources such as curd ,milk , fish , beans , are
the rich source of calcium minerals
ii) consumption of meat, marine food , green heavy vegetables ,
legumes as they contain high amount of Iodine , iron , chloride ,
zinc and magnesium .
