We have more types of knowledge than just scientific knowledge. Discuss.
Scientific Knowledge- The Scientific knowledge is process of finding the actual knowledge through experiment and observation. Scientists use various observations, laws, theories to come up with scientific conclusions. The important essence of science are the analyses done to conclude an observation.
There are different types of knowledge apart from just scientific knowledge as below:
1. Non Scientific Knowledge- Non Scientific Knowledge is accessed via senses, intuition, revelation and experience. Knowledge is gained through seeing, sound, touch, smell and experience. Knowledge obtained through experience, intuition, revelations are treated as private knowledge. Objective testing is not conducted on Non scientific methods as it is done in Scientific knowledge.
2. Logical Knowledge- Logical Knowledge is the result of the understanding of the relationship of ideas to one another. There are the rules or laws of logic that permit claims to knowledge that are further statements of ideas consistent with the rules and the ideas already accepted.
3. Semantic Knowledge- Knowledge as a result of learning new words is called Semantic knowledge. Knowledge of words is knowledge of definitions
4. Systematic Knowledge- This is the knowledge of Mathematics and Geometry, which is the result of learning a system of words, or symbols and how they relate to one another and the rules of operating in that system.
