The team leader should ensure that the employees and the subordinates complete their work with efficiency. There are many inefficiencies or problems that the leaders face in their term. The team leader should ensure to motivate the employees to work appropriately. The leader should take corrective measures to improve the performance of the employees. The first measure is to delegate the work among the subordinates. The leaders should delegate the work among the team members to complete their work on time, and with more expertise. The second factor is to communicate effectively. The primary factor in ensuring efficiency is proper communication. There is a set scalar chain of authority, and responsibility, which the employees should follow. The third valuable solution is to determine the company's strengths and weaknesses as well as the team. The leader should improve its weaknesses, and then use them as their strengths. The strengths will benefit the team as well as the productivity of employees. The next solution is to give financial or nonfinancial motivation. Financial incentives include bonuses, profit sharing, stock options, and many more as the nonfinancial incentives include recognition and appreciation in front of all the team members. The leader should adopt the process step by step. The first step is to motivate the employees to produce effective results. The next step is to assess the performance, let the employees know about the good points first, and then the wrong points later. It is an efficient method because the employees will get the motivation to do more hard work and ensure more productivity. The leader should then take corrective actions to ensure that the employees help the company achieve more. For instance, the leader should appreciate employees in case of any success in front of al the other team members. It is essential because it will benefit employees to do much better in the future and help other fellow team members achieve to get the same recognition. Hence, team leaders' motivation plays a vital role in eliminating all the inefficiencies in the team.
